Why don’t you call us «анонимы» instead of «аноны»?
"Nonny" is similar to "анончик", not "анон" though.
Nonnies and anons, stop wanking, please, better tell me if you had any good news in your life
When I was walking to the subway from work earlier, I saw a cute doggie in an overall that looked the same breed as my friend's dog. I instantly remembered her, I love that dog, she's such a sweetheart although a bit mischievous, so it was heartwarming.
But uhh yeah, that was the best for this week.
I had a dentist appointment today. Sooo. Today was not a good day
Today was not a good day
Cause today is 13th!
By the way, new exciting vocabulary
Nobody talks like that though.
internet slang
That's what I meant. Nobody talks like that on the internet either, except in this thread and maybe in some obscure depths of dying tumblr.

Eh? https://fanlore.org/wiki/Wank Urbandictionary also has it in this meaning. I regularly see it on ffa and the rest of fandom anon spaces, it's quite a common term.
I've seen "wank" being used but not often, I think "discourse" is more popular term.

Yep, "wank" was used a lot in tumblr glory past but right now "discourse" far more popular

They're different though. Discourse implies that it's a ~serious~ matter. Wank is often used in combinations like "the potato wank" - that time when someone peeled potato the wrong way and some community divided and quarreled about potatoes and everything related. Like, if we decided to translate the thread of fucked up relatives into English, there would be various mentions of the White Sofa wank, the Pants of Discord wank, the Credit Card wank etc. (an honorary mention of someone's mom with a catchphrase "but the radiator is warmish!"). You can дискутировать something and then you can сраться about it.

Eh, everything can be a ~serious~ issue for someone. Although I was only in the fandom part of tumblr, "discourse" was labeled on every goddamn quarrel between two users who didn't agree on their headcanons. But I guess you're right, wank and discourse do feel kinda different.
I've seen "wank" as in "дрочить на что-то" being loud and obnoxious fan/defender. Just like "nipwank" is used on /a/ when manga authors go "Japan strong" (or anons think they do).
Not even once it was used to refer to actual online argument where I've been.

Here are your "natives use the word wank" examples, pretty fresh and you can guess the meaning out of context:

Well.
What is the last book you’ve read? What was it about? Was it in English or Russian?

It pains me to admit it but Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. I saw it on a shelf in a bookshop and an inexplicable urge to read some junk overcame me. It's basically a published slash fic, "enemies" to lovers trope between a son of the american president and a grandson of the british queen. It was ehh at best and too syrupy for my taste. I've read it in russian as I was too lazy to search for the original.
What is the last book you’ve read?
Istari's Mo dao
I can't work anymore because I subscribed to thousands of modao threads and they just don't ever shut up and I can't stop reading

It pains me to admit but I read too many fics and not enough books these days. And I don't remember which book was the last, some m/m probably anyway. But whatever it was, it was in English because the majority of what I read is in English. Oh, and I started "That's not English" by Erin Moore at some point not very long ago but probably didn't finish it

Cocoon by Zhang Yueran (well, the Russian translation of it). Family drama covering three generations of two Chinese families and their interconnections. Fairly interesting, and reminded me in style of the Soviet 'rural' prose, only with more sex and body liquids.

It was "Здесь вам не причинят никакого вреда" and sequel. It's kinda city fantasy, with police-like organization fighting kid's fears, who are real in this world.
I rarely read books nowadays, mostly manga. Manga I read in english, with exception of those which have russian translation only. Or more chaps translated in russian.

The Russian edition of "The Broken Commandment" by Tōson Shimazaki, about a burakumin man in late Meiji period.
